Cthulu mermaid — October 13 sketch

•

Calends of April
Sketch of a cthulhu mermaid. This sketch is focused on her face, which has tentacles growing from it like cthulhu. The tentacles are pulled back to reveal a cephalopod beak. This fantastical beak has sharp hooked teeth and an inner maw with a feature resembling an octopus eye surrounded by another row of sharp teeth. The figure's expression is fierce, with narrowed eyes and shell-shaped ears pointed back. This is a simple sketch, with sketchy white lines on a black background.

Tentacles week is also turning out to be ‘she bites’ week. Cthulu merfag for day 13 of a month of daily sketches.

Illustration of budding flowers emerging from seeds as roots reach out in the soil. The flowers are red with sketchy black outlines, the soil is black, and the background is dark gray. There is a circle-A for anarchism among the flowers. This image is a detail from Glowing: CalendsOfApril.com/glowing.
