Sketch of three saguaro blossoms (cactus flowers). Saguaro flowers have waxy petals that curve out from rings of stamens around a cluster of pistils; the petals are creamy white and the centers are soft yellow. This simple sketch is black and white, with sketchy white lines on a solid black background.
The saguaro grows on O’odham land (in the southwest of the so-called US). The harvest of the saguaro fruit is an ongoing tradition.
