These words frame a sketch of a mending basket with clothes to mend, along with a pin cushion, jar of buttons, loose buttons, thread, and scissors.
The shirt at the top of the basket has a missing button. Other clothes have a darned patch and an embroidered circle-A for anarchism. The pin cushion is a classic tomato shape, with a strawberry-shaped needle sharpener (tiny closed pouch of emery) attached to it by a strand of thread.
